L’histoire de ce marchand, qui passe d’étonnements en étonnements, pose un regard passionnant sur l’Asie.
A la suite de la représentation, les comédiens proposent un échange sur les inventions et découvertes en Chine au temps de Marco Polo : cerf-volant, boussole, poudre à canon, pâtes alimentaires…
