En interdisant à sa jeune épouse l’accès au petit cabinet noir, la Barbe-Bleue excite sa curiosité sans pour autant la satisfaire. Mais l’envie de savoir ce que contient le cabinet est la plus forte, et lorsque la Barbe-Bleue part en voyage, la jeune femme ne résiste pas à la tentation. De multiples versions ont jalonné l’histoire de ce conte, jusqu’à ne plus savoir si c’est bien un fait divers qui en est à l’origine ou si c’est le conte lui-même qui a donné naissance à la célèbre légende…
Dans ce spectacle, musique, décor et vidéos servent un univers à la fois troublant et merveilleux dont la poésie offre un vrai contre-point à la barbarie évoquée.
Oh, ces sombres murs qui pleurent !
